At 0145 hrs on 19/4/2022, the whole of the Ukraine woke up because of the air rade sirens. It seems the Russians just took it up a notch and started their full scale offensive of the Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts (provinces). Each time when I realize it’s getting considerably worse, my heart sinks a little deeper. I have seen the saddening consequences of war for individual people in the conflict zones. And for myself, I simply want to go on with my pre-war life and be done with all of this. But, we’ve got work to do, and truck #9 is arriving in the morning, so I have to try and get some sleep. The marathon has only just begun.
