LifeLine Ukraine is happy to announce that we have just shipped the batteries and inverters for the solar panels from Germany! The cargo is now heading to Mykolaiv, where we’ll be installing two solar power plants at critical healthcare facilities:
Mykolaiv Regional Children’s Hospital – 430 beds, 15,000 inpatient treatments, and 55,000 consultations per year.
Mykolaiv Maternity Hospital – 500 childbirths per year.
These hospitals provide essential care to thousands of people, and we’re thrilled to be making them more energy-resilient. This is where our project comes in. We are addressing this crisis by installing off-grid solar energy systems. You can see it in our new video!
The batteries and inverters are expected to arrive in Mykolaiv on Monday.
Stay tuned for more updates!
And a big thank you to our generous donors for supporting this vital project in Ukraine.
