Fuel has always been hard to get by since the onset of the war, but now filling up your tank has become a real challenge.

This is the result of the destruction of the downstream supply chain in Ukraine (e.g. refineries and storage facilities). The lack of fuel is creating severe congestion in the entire humanitarian aid supply chain as well. As there is no fuel to distribute humanitarian goods, the warehouses are becoming full and inaccessible, and trucks stand still at the side of the road. A big logistics challenge for us, but a severe threat to survival for those suffering in Eastern Ukraine and waiting for aid.
