Still a week ago Mikolayev, the origin of LifeLine Ukraine was doing relatively well. That is why we directed our aid to Sumy and Chernigov. Now for the third day there is no water in the city of Mikolayev.All the reserves that Mikolayev had are finished. Our bottled water that was not a first priority when we distributed it in Chernigov last week, would have now been a life saver in Mikolayev. How frustrating this work is!!! How hard to get it perfectly right. People are taking water from the river to wash and flush the toilets. The water containers sent by Euromoldings thanks to Paul Jacob are now an urgent necessity whereas a week ago they were a “great to have”.
