The Medyka-Shehyni border crossing is one of the main entry points for foreign volunteers into Ukraine and exit points for refugees out of Ukraine. Still around 150 refugees cross this border every day, but most NGOs and aid organisations that have been here for months to support the refugees have left this border crossing. Those few NGOs remaining didn’t really know what caused the disappearance of their colleagues. Help is still needed and with winter approaching, refugee streams may soon increase again.
