In this case we agreed first with the civil administration (the Mayor’s office) about the destination of the humanitarian aid. And then we arranged the transport with the CIMIC department of the National Guard. (CIMIC is Civil Military Cooperation). With the help of the National Guard we distributed truck #13 among the Red Cross of Zaporizhya, the population of the towns of Vilnyansk, and Orikhiv, and the humanitarian refugee organization Patriot at the main refugee reception area of Zaporizhya. NB: Amazing to see how people who happened to pass by joined in to help unload the truck. Was a nice surprise as well to see the mayor of Vilnyansk, Natalya, at my side, who not only organized the unloading process but also made her hands dirty unloading the cargo.
