In the last 18 months I have driven around 50.000 kms through war-torn Ukraine in the 18-year-old Peugeout 407 of Oleksandr Riabokon. We stranded once on the highway to Dnipro, once on a pitchdark forest road outside of Chernihiv one hour before the curfew, and once (a lucky shot) we broke down a 100 meters from my hotel in Kyiv.
Now we have this beast of a car that will transport us safely to the areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhya, Kherson, and Mykolaiv where large scale aid does not come, and where LifeLine Ukraine.org gets aid done now.
