Truck #23 arrived to Kiev. As always, we are using the warehouse of the World Food Program’s Logistics Cluster. Now the next challenging phase of our work starts; the effective distribution to those who need it most. With 18 local partners and 12 locations of operations all over the country, we are counting on another success story!
The Medyka-Shehyni border crossing is one of the main entry points for foreign volunteers into Ukraine and exit points for refugees out of Ukraine. Still around 150 refugees cross this border every day, but most NGOs and aid organisations that have been here for months to support the refugees have left this border crossing. Those few NGOs remaining didn’t really know what caused the disappearance of their colleagues. Help is still needed and with winter approaching, refugee streams may soon increase again.

Truck #23 in the making! Ronald from Nedcargo is weighing and organizing the cargo. Thanks to Picnic, Spronk Bakkerij Machines, People4People, DBC International, NOCNSF, and our own LifeLine Ukraine!

Thanks to the donors of LifeLine Ukraine and thanks to Spronk Bakkerijmachines for the cooperation! (The Hatinka Bakery distributes the bread it bakes for free among those in need.)
