Lifeline Ukraine’s 2025–2026 Winterization campaign supported nearly 400,000 people in frontline regions of Ukraine. Thanks to €272,000 in donations, essential materials were delivered to help communities maintain access to electricity, water and basic hygiene during the cold months.
The Challenge
Winter conditions in frontline regions of Ukraine remain extremely harsh. Temperatures can drop to -20°C, while ongoing shelling continues to disrupt electricity, water supply and essential public services. For vulnerable communities, maintaining access to heat, water and hygiene facilities is critical during the winter months.
Lifeline Ukraine’s Response
With the successful completion of the 2025–2026 Winterization campaign, Lifeline Ukraine helped provide essential support to frontline communities across Ukraine.
- Generators and battery systems for hospitals and water utilities
- Mobile sanitary units for affected communities
- Emergency energy support to maintain basic services during outages
Impact on Communities
The delivered equipment enabled local services to remain operational despite repeated disruptions to electricity infrastructure.
“Thank God this generator arrived; without electricity, we simply couldn’t start the system to provide water to people’s homes.”
